Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

The most effective way to maximize your savings is to minimize the time and specialized labor required to load our truck. You can easily secure our lowest possible pricing tiers by preparing for your appointment with these simple steps:

  • Stage Items for Easy Access: Place your items in an easily accessible location, such as curbside, a driveway, or an open garage.

  • Pre-Disassemble Large Furniture: Break down complex items like large bed frames, sectional sofas, or oversized tables before our team arrives.

  • Clear the Navigation Path: Ensure items do not require our team to navigate interior stairwells, narrow corners, or tight doorways, which require specialized handling and incur additional labor fees.

By staging your items near a main exit, we can complete your pickup quickly and pass those operational savings directly back to you.

Please note: In the spirit of maximum transparency, we list our potential extra fees upfront. However, you can avoid almost all of these extra charges (excluding the Appliance Freon Fee and Heavy Materials Surcharge) by simply following the cost-saving preparation steps outlined in the first FAQ above!

  • Stair Carry Surcharge ($20 per flight): This applies to residential homes, apartment complexes, and commercial properties without a working elevator. (May be waived for small, easily manageable items).

  • Long-Distance Carry Fee ($30 – $50 flat): This applies if the walking distance from our truck to the items is over 100 feet (e.g., long apartment complex corridors).

  • Furniture Disassembly ($20 – $40 per item): This covers standard tool work to break down bed frames, dining tables, or sectional couches so they can safely fit through hallways and doorways.

  • Complex Mounting Removal ($40 – $60 per item): This covers the time and precision required to safely unmount large mirrors or heavy TVs attached with heavy-duty anchors or intricate hardware.

  • Appliance Freon Fee ($35 – $50 per unit): This covers the environmental handling and facility extraction fees required for proper, legal disposal of refrigerators, freezers, and AC units.

  • Automotive Tire Fee: We do not accept tires at this time.

  • Bagging / Loose Debris Labor ($5 per bag): This applies to dense garbage piles or extensive cleanouts where our team must spend extra time manually bagging loose items before loading.

  • Heavy Materials Weight Surcharge (+30% to +50% markup): This applies to dense, heavy materials such as tile, concrete, rock, dirt, or shingles due to heavy scale weight fees at the disposal facilities.

  • Light Exterior Demolition ($60 – $80 per hour): This covers the manual labor and tools required to safely tear down items like rotted wooden decks, metal sheds, fencing panels, or playsets.

Yes, we accept mirrors and glass items, provided they can be safely managed by our team. For safety and handling compliance, please review the following guidelines:

  • Details Matter: To get the most accurate estimate, please provide as much details as possible about the item, including the size, weight, and any special instructions.

  • Size Limitations: Mirrors must not exceed 4 feet in length or 4 feet in width.

  • Unmounting Fees: An additional specialized handling fee applies if a mirror requires unmounting from a wall. If it is mounted using unconventional, complex, or heavy-duty hardware, further labor fees may be assessed to account for the extra time and effort required for safe removal.

  • How to Save: To maximize your savings and avoid these surcharges, you can safely unmount the mirror yourself and stage it near a main exit or in an easily accessible location.

  • Oversized Mirrors: If your mirror exceeds our 4-foot safety dimensions, you may choose to carefully break it down into a secure container or box prior to our arrival. Our team can then haul it away under standard volume pricing.

For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, we cannot accept hazardous materials or dangerous items. The items we DO NOT take include:

  • Fuels: Gasoline, diesel, propane, etc.

  • Car Fluids: Motor oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, etc.

  • Pressurized Containers: Propane tanks, helium tanks, aerosol cans, etc.

  • Chemicals: Herbicides, pesticides, bleach, household cleaners, and wet paint (If paint is dry, we can take it.)).

  • Bio-hazards: Medical waste, bodily fluids, or otherwise heavily contaminated items.

  • Environmental Outliers: Automotive tires, Mercury-Containing Devices, Lead-Acid and Lithium-Ion Batteries.

  • Safety Risks: Items that are too massive to lift safely or items located in structurally compromised/dangerous areas.

  • Other Hazardous Materials: Asbestos, lead, explosives, etc.

Please note that at this time we also do not take extremely heavy debris like large amounts of concrete or dirt. If you are unsure whether we can take a specific item, please reach out to us before your appointment!

No, physical presence is not required as long as your items are placed in an accessible exterior location, such as a driveway or curbside. We can seamlessly complete the removal and process your payment remotely. To ensure total accuracy, we kindly request that you clearly label or mark the designated items (using tape, a sticky note, or a piece of paper) prior to our team's arrival.

Our pricing is entirely transparent and based on volume and your zip code (Location)—meaning you only pay for the physical space your items occupy, adjusted for your regional distance. To help you budget accurately, our baseline tiers generally fall into these standard ranges:

  • Single Item Minimum ($100): Perfect for individual items like a mattress, sofa, or appliance discard.

  • Partial Truck Bed Loads ($140 – $235): Ideal for clearing out a couple of rooms or a small garage pile (covers 1/4 to 1/2 bed loads).

  • Large to Full Truck Bed Loads ($285 – $375): Designed for major residential cleanouts and bulky estate items (covers 3/4 to full bed loads).

Note: Outlying service zones feature a modest travel adjustment to account for DFW highway transit times. Exceptionally dense materials (dirt, tile, concrete, brick) bypass volume rates and are quoted custom by weight. Final pricing is visually confirmed on-site before loading begins.

We strive to make the payment process as convenient as possible. We currently accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Credit and Debit Cards: Processed securely via Stripe Inc. We accept all major cards including Visa (including Visa Debit), Mastercard, American Express, and Discover & Diners Club.

  • Check

Payment is typically collected on-site only after the job is completed to your satisfaction.

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind and the safety of your property.

The safety of our team and the protection of your property are our top priorities. In the event of standard light rain, our operations continue as scheduled, though we highly recommend staging items in a covered area (such as a garage or patio) to prevent water-logging. For open-air or curbside items during heavy storms or severe DFW weather, we will proactively coordinate with you to adjust your arrival window or seamlessly reschedule your appointment to the next available clear day at no additional charge.

Yes, we routinely service multi-story complexes and secure communities across the metroplex. To help us maintain our prompt arrival windows, we kindly request that you provide any necessary gate entry access codes or parking instructions prior to your appointment. For multi-story apartment or commercial office removals, please ensure that elevators are accessible and that any building-specific loading zone requirements are cleared with your property management team ahead of time.

Absolutely. While individual residential junk removal is billed under our standard truck volume tiers, we have the operational capacity to manage large-scale cleanouts. We regularly partner with DFW real estate agents, landlords, property managers, and estate executors for full-property clearances, warehouse cleanouts, and commercial liquidations. Because these projects often require multiple truck turnarounds or multi-day timelines, we provide comprehensive, custom flat-rate project quotes following an initial site assessment.
